Got them for the (now) wife for her something new and something blue, she was very pleased with them. She didnt take them off for days after. I was worried about the size as she doesnt like overly large earings and these are just about right, big enough to be noticable but not over the top. Went with these (the lower ct) as i had to buy a back up plan incase that wasnt the case and on the size of them i doubt you could ever know the lower ct (not that i have seen the higher ct). I had the engagement and wedding rings made bespoke by a jeweller and these look equally as good but for considerably less. Very happy with the purchase.
